These terms apply to communitytails.com (“Community Tails,” “we,” “us”). By using the site or joining the waitlist, you agree to them.

What Community Tails is

Community Tails is a free community directory that helps pet owners and pet care providers find each other. We are not a pet care provider, employer, staffing agency or booking service. We don’t take bookings, process payments or take commission.

We don’t vet or verify sitters

We don’t employ, screen, vet, background-check, supervise or endorse any sitter or owner. Profile details, including reviews, references, certifications, insurance and background-check badges, are provided by users. We don’t verify them and make no representation about their accuracy.

Arrangements are between owners and sitters

Any arrangement for pet care is solely between the owner and the sitter. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for the conduct of any user, the quality of any care, or any injury, loss, illness or damage to people, pets or property. Please read our safety tips, meet first and check references.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist means we’ll email you about the launch of Community Tails. It doesn’t create an account or promise access to any feature. You can unsubscribe anytime.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information and only share content you have the right to share.
• Follow applicable laws, including any licensing or tax rules for pet care businesses.
• Don’t misuse the site, harass others, post false information or send spam.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Community Tails is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or any arrangement made through it.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service develops. We’ll post the new date at the top of this page.
